Caleb Leiva is from San Salvador, El Salvador. A drummer and percussionist, he started as a drummer at age 13 with teacher Jhosselynne Ortega then began his percussion studies at CENAR with teacher Stanley Alvarez. He was a member of the El Salvador Youth Philamornica, Ancalmo Foundation Chamber Orchestra, CENAR Percussion Ensemble, Ancalmo Foundation Folk Music Ensemble, and Flamenco, Jazz, Rock, and Afro-Cuban Bands. current member of YAPA, Hermanos,The Rhythmic Fusion, Motherlodge, The Afrophyscis among others.
